Privacy Policy — Snuggery

At Snuggery we take our customers' privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller

These fields will be completed once the business is registered as a sole trader or company. Until then, this policy is provided as a draft and should not be published with incomplete information.
2. What data do we collect?
We collect the data you provide directly to us when placing an order or contacting us:
Identification data: first and last name.
Contact data: email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if provided).
Order data: products purchased, amount, order date.
Payment data: processed directly by Shopify Payments (see section 4). Snuggery does not store or have access to your full card details.
Basic technical data: IP address and browsing data automatically collected by the Shopify platform for the store to function (necessary technical cookies).
We currently do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any third-party advertising or analytics tools. If we introduce any in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent where required.
3. What do we use your data for?

We do not use your data to send you marketing communications or newsletters unless you give us your express consent to do so.
4. Who do we share your data with?
We only share the data strictly necessary with:
Shopify Payments: processes payments securely. Shopify acts as a data processor and may transfer data to servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), relying on the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses and its own GDPR compliance framework. You can review their policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Courier company: once we have appointed a courier, we will share with them only the data necessary for delivery (name, address, phone number).
Public authorities: where there is a legal obligation to do so (for example, tax obligations).
We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for advertising purposes.
5. How long do we keep your data?
We keep your data for as long as there is a business relationship with you, and afterwards for the periods legally required to comply with tax and accounting obligations (generally up to 6 years under Spanish commercial law).
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
Access your personal data.
Rectify inaccurate data.
Erase your data when it is no longer necessary.
Object to processing.
Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
Request portability of your data to another controller.
You can exercise these rights by writing to us at mysnuggeryco@gmail.com, stating which right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your ID document.
If you believe we have not properly handled your request, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) — www.aepd.es.
7. Cookies
Our store only uses the necessary technical cookies for it to function, managed by the Shopify platform (for example, to maintain your shopping cart). We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes in how we operate. Any changes will be published on this same page with the date of the last update.
